Manfrotto 190 XProB
Newly redesigned, the 190XPROB makes the famous Manfrotto-patented horizontal centre column feature even easier to use. Now, by extending the column to its highest vertical position, it can be swung round to horizontal without removing the head or disassembling the column itself, so switching between framing and positioning setups is more convenient than ever. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks themselves have also been greatly improved. |

The best value tripod on the market today, amazingly sturdy for the price, and well worth the extra few pounds over the XB, as for minimum extra outlay, you get the versatility of a centre column that pivots through 90degrees and pans through 360 degrees. Everyone on a budget should have one. |

055 Carbon Fibre MF3
Specifically designed for extreme outdoor assignments, this tripod uses the same construction as the 055PRO but uses different materials for the legs and all metal parts. Like the 055PRO, the 055MF3 has a three-faceted aluminum center column, which can offset the pressure of the locking system and the torsion caused while in the horizontal position. The legs are constructed of 1.2 mm carbon fiber tube combined with magnesium diecasting, quick-action lever locking collars made of magnesium die-casting. Each leg can be set independently in one of four angle settings using the dedicated quick-action leg angle selector. The top spider is made of magnesium die-casting, and includes the clamping system for the dual position center column plus a built-in bubble level. To assure the best thermal resistance, all parts has been assembled using a proven pressure clamping technology that eliminates failure-prone glue joints for greater durability and in-the-field serviceability. A hand-padded carrying strap, supplied with the tripod, can also operate like a hook to hang weights from in order to increase the stability of the tripod during shoots in extreme wind conditions. It is ideal support for all SLR analog/digital camera equipment, medium format cameras and spotting scopes modified for digiscoping applications.

322 RC2 grip head
Specifically developed for use with very long lenses on Monopods. Key features: Friction base which enables the bracket to pan on Monopod, also can be used on a tripod. Two rubber hand grips plus rubber protection to prevent damage to lens when tilted to maximum. Variable centre height adjustment in three steps. |
£89.20 |
Fantastically quick to set up, and unlike the old vertical grip head, this new model is a much lower profile. Has a friction control for heavier equipment, and unlike many ball and socket designs, suffers much less “droop” than many. |

410 junior geared head
Extremely compact, this unique head offers gear movement in three directions, pan, tilt and side to side tilt. The head incorporates a quick release camera plate system and is suitable for 35mm SLR and medium format cameras. |
£135.95 |
Nothing junior about this piece of kit. Easily carries 6Kg of camera and lens, and has unmatched precision of adjustment in all three planes using fine geared movements. Quick adjustment is possible using a clutch mechanism. If you are into landscape, macro or architecture, this is the best piece of kit you’ll ever buy. I use it for 95% of my photography. The only set up that may struggle is the D3/1DS body with 70 – 200mm2.8 lens, as the lower section of the body may catch the head when using the lens mount. – If you are using this set up, it might be worth using the 405 head. |

405 geared head
Speed and digital precision are paramount in the latest 405 Pro Digital Geared Head, the 405 provides ideal support and fast, pinpoint positioning for professional medium format cameras with conventional or digital backs. The 405 Pro Digital Geared Head was designed specifically to meet the more exacting, time-sensitive needs of busy professional digital photographers who shoot with medium format or 35 mm camera/back with payloads up to 7.5 Kg. It utilizes large, easy-to-grip knobs that provide smooth, positive, geared control through 360° pan and +90° -30° frontal and lateral tilt. In addition to its 3-D geared functions, the 405 also incorporates a unique feature that allows you to instantly disengage the gears and rough position the camera by hand, then instantly reengage them for ultra-precise final alignment. |
£271.95 |
The 410’s big brother, similar in all aspects to the “junior” head, but with a greater carrying capacity. May be more suited to the larger pro-bodied cameras using lens collar tripod mounts. |

460Mg head
An innovative 3D Head unlike any other! Cast from lightweight magnesium, the head can be positioned in virtually any position to get the exact framing of the image. The lock-system using spring-loaded conical joints allows greater fl exibility than any other 3D head whether mounted on a tripod centre column or lateral arm. The rubber grip knobs provide fi nger tip control and won’t poke you in the eye like conventional handles do. The 460Mg is the ideal head in combination with the Carbon Number One line for 35mm SLRs and medium format cameras. |
£60.00 |
A simple three way head made of magnesium alloy and weighing almost nothing (400g). I have yet to have a guest that has not been genuinely amazed how light this head is. If you are looking for the low-weight solution – this is the one. |
 |
468MG Hydrostatic heads
The 468MG Hydrostatic Ball head is the most advanced ball head of the entire Manfrotto range. Designed to meet the demand of professional photographers for a lightweight, but heavy duty load capacity ball head. Intended for camera and lens loads of up to 16 kg., this head has a magnesium die cast body, a 5cm Teflon coated aluminum ball combined with specially designed tension surfaces provides movements as smooth as silk. The oversized lock knobs combined with the patent pending hydraulic locking mechanism provides the ultimate positive lock with the least amount of effort. Truly an engineering marvel. |
£171.00 |
With this range of ball and socket heads, a separate friction control adjusts the grip of the head, allowing smooth adjustment of camera / lens combinations. A separate locking mechanism locks everything tight, holding up to 16 Kg of camera / lens. Manfrotto make these in a range of different quick release plate options, so you can buy the one that matches other heads. I use these for all my travel photography - |

Quick release plates and architectural plates.
£Call |
The great thing about Manfrotto quick release plates is their value for money – at under £15 per plate, there really is no excuse not to have one fitted to every camera body and long lens. Architectural plates (200 series) have a metal lip that matches up with either the front of rear of your camera body, preventing rotation of the body on the plate when the camera is being used in the portrait format. |

323 long lens support.
£110.46 |
With some long lens supports costing almost £500, the Manfrotto long lens support is not simply great value for money, but it really works, I started using it 18 months ago when I bought a 400mm f3.5 lens – although listed in the Manfrotto brochures as a monopod accessory, I use it on a tripod all the time for wildlife and bird photography. The lens is mounted on a sliding platform, which you lock at the balance point, and then pivots and rotates around it’s centre on the mount. Although there is no locking mechanism, the up and down tilt can be tensioned by tightening the adjusters. If you are trying to track a bird along a branch, or follow a lion in the wilds of Africa, this head has immense versatility. |
